Russ Porter is a member of IALEIA’s 2023-2025 Executive Advisory Board, a past recipient of the IALEIA President’s Exceptional Service Award, and previously served on IALEIA’s Board of Directors. He’s also been awarded the National Intelligence Medal for Superior Service by the Director of National Intelligence of the United States; the National Fusion Center Association’s Thomas J. O'Reilly Lifetime Achievement Award; the Civil Rights Award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police for protecting civil rights in policy, training, and ethical practice of intelligence; Distinguished Service Awards from the Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Units (LEIU); and many others. He continues to help leaders and organizations develop and improve their use of intelligence in a complex and rapidly changing world.
