This new two-day GeoTime Desktop Basics class hosted and taught by PenLink,. This program is conducted on the Microsoft Teams platform with ability to interact with the trainer. This class will be held Wednesday through Thursday, March 20-21, 2024, from 9:30 am - 6:00 pm (ET) EASTERN TIME.
PREREQUISITE: None.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This GeoTime Desktop Basics helps analysts incorporate the mapping and courtroom presentation features of GeoTime Desktop into their daily analytical workflow. Topics include how to:
- Map call records and GPS records
- Add locations of interest
- Incorporate visual display options for maps, events, callouts, specialized annotations, cell sector display, and more
- Create reports that contain map images with annotations that export to PowerPoint
- Utilize functions to reveal top locations, top other parties, and patterns of life
- Animate the target phone location history
- Review link analysis for a multiple-target dataset, identify common contacts, and isolate communication between specific devices
- Run the pattern analysis tools to answer key questions quickly and efficiently

TUITION AND PAYMENT
Class tuition is $995 per person or waived with a PenLink Training Subscription.

DEVICE
You will need a computer that has a Remote Desktop application installed. PenLink will provide you with the credentials to a cloud based GeoTime Desktop training database, which will allow you to practice using GeoTime Desktop throughout the course of the class. You will not be using your agency’s GeoTime Desktop license.
We recommend that participants have two monitors during training. Prior to the class, you will receive additional communication regarding webinar login and password information.
