This seminar will examine the issues and challenges related to the protection of privacy, civil rights and civil liberties, including responses to violent extremism, while protecting First Amendment rights; collecting, analyzing and disseminating information and products; and best practice policies and responses to protect privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties during intelligence and information sharing efforts. Partner organizations include the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties, the DHS Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties and the DHS Privacy Office.
